Low cost Veg menu: Roasted Papad Curry

Ingredients:

  1. Roasted Papad : 5 pieces 
  2. Peeled cubed potato: 100 gm
  3. Tomato Puree: 2 tablespoon
  4. Ginger Paste: 1 tablespoon
  5. Split Green chilies: 4 pieces
  6. Cumin paste-Coriander paste: 10 gm
  7. Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Kashmiri red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
  9. Whole cumin seed : 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Bay leaves: 2 pieces
  11. Whole red chili: 2 pieces
  12. Mastered oil: 3 teaspoon
  13.  Cinnamon +Cardamom + clove (half dust): 1 teaspoon
  14. Fresh chopped coriander leaves: 2 teaspoon
  15. Butter oil: 1/2 teaspoon
  16. Salt & Sugar: As per taste
  17. Water: 1 cup
Processing:

Add  3 teaspoon mastered oil in a pan , Leave it on medium flame and let it come to its smoking point.>Pour whole spices you have like whole cumin seed, whole red chili and bay leaves, saute them till you get an aroma just for a minute.>After that adjust it in medium flame and add peeled cubed potato and fry them until become golden color. >Then add ginger paste and tomato puree, saute them for a while.>Add split green chilies, cumin-coriander paste, turmeric powder and kashmiri red chili powder and stir them until oil begins to separate.>Then add water and salt-sugar as per taste.>Cover the pan with lid , Leave it on low flame for 10 minutes.>Remove the lid and add Roasted Papad ( crushed). Leave it for 2 minutes.>Then add cinnamon +cardamom + clove (half dust) and butter oil, mix them well.> Put off the flame and serve with fresh coriander leaves(chopped)

Time for Snacks:   Crispy Lentil cutlet Ingredients: Soaked and paste lentil: 100 gm Whole egg: 2 pieces  Chopped onion: 2 tablespoon Chopped green chili: 1 tablespoon Chopped capsicum: 1 tablespoon Cumin- coriander powder: 1 teaspoon   Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon Bread crumbs: 3 tablespoon Cornflour: 1 tablespoon Fresh chopped coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon Salt & Sugar: As per taste Rice bran oil: 4 tablespoon Processing: In a deep pan heat the oil and add chopped onion , saute for few minutes until it became soft and light golden in color.
