Cottage Cheese Stuffed Paratha

Todays Recipe: Cottage cheese Stuffed Paratha

Ingredients:

  1. Whole wheat flour: 3 cups
  2. Rice bran oil: 3 teaspoon
  3. Water: 1 cup
  4. Cottage cheese: 200 gm
  5. Fresh coriander leaves chopped: 10 gm
  6. Green chili chopped: 5 gm
  7. Capsicum chopped: 10 gm
  8. Sugar: 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt: 1 teaspoon

Processing:

  • At first add whole wheat flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon oil in a mixing bowl and mix it well.
  • Pour about 1/2 cup of water and mix , begin to squeeze with the hand add more water if required and again squeeze till it become smooth soft dough.
  • Cover and allow the dough to rest for 1 hour.
  • After that for stuffing preparation take another bowl and add cottage cheese, coriander leaves chopped, green chili chopped ,capsicum chopped, salt and sugar. Mix everything well.
  • After that pinch a medium size dough , roll about 5 inch in diameter 
  • Place the prepared stuffing  in the center and take the edge and start pleating 
  • And place the pleats from center.
  • Further more sprinkle some flour and roll the stuffed dough.
  • Then on a hot tava place the roll paratha and cook both side.
  • Add oil and fry both side.
  • Now paratha is ready and for side dish with paratha you can take Masala dal Navaratna

This plate is full of fiber and protein. Per 100 gm whole wheat can gives you Energy: 340 kcal, Protein: 13.2 gm, Fiber: 10.7, Fat: 2.5 gm with minerals like selenium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and vitamins like riboflavin , folic acid. As the presence of insoluble fiber that helps GUT heath and reduce colon cancer. As the presence of  cottage cheese in this recipe that gives you enough protein and also an essential nutrients with essential amino acids, minerals like Calcium, Phosphorus, Selenium . Selenium can increase antioxidant protection in blood. Cottage cheese is full of casein protein which has a great impact on muscle gain and it helps to improve bone health and provide antioxidants .

Time for Snacks:   Crispy Lentil cutlet Ingredients: Soaked and paste lentil: 100 gm Whole egg: 2 pieces  Chopped onion: 2 tablespoon Chopped green chili: 1 tablespoon Chopped capsicum: 1 tablespoon Cumin- coriander powder: 1 teaspoon   Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon Bread crumbs: 3 tablespoon Cornflour: 1 tablespoon Fresh chopped coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon Salt & Sugar: As per taste Rice bran oil: 4 tablespoon Processing: In a deep pan heat the oil and add chopped onion , saute for few minutes until it became soft and light golden in color.
